Eid-e-Milad Holiday: Schools Likely to Remain Closed on the Occasion

Eid-e-Milad, also known as Mawlid al-Nabi, marks the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad and is observed by millions of Muslims with prayers, religious gatherings, processions, and charitable activities.

As the festival approaches, students and parents are advised to check the official holiday circulars issued by their respective state governments, education departments, or school authorities to confirm whether schools will remain closed in their area.

Authorities have advised schools to communicate any changes to students and parents in advance. Educational institutions are also expected to resume regular classes according to their normal timetable after the holiday.
